Appleが「iOS 8 beta 6」をテストパートナー向けに配布開始したとBoy Genius Reportが報じている！

本日、Appleはデベロッパー向けに新しい壁紙を含む「OS X 10.10 Yosemite Preview 6」を公開したが、これまで同時に公開されていた「iOS 8」のベータ版はリリースされなかった。「あれ？」と思った人も多いと思うが、どうやら今回、「iOS 8」の最新ベータ版は「テストパートナー」と呼ばれる一部のデベロッパーのみに提供されたようだ。

最後のベータ版は「iOS 8 beta 5」？！次はGM版？！

情報によると、今回テストパートナーのみに配布された理由として、GM版のリリースが近いことを挙げている。今回限定的に配布された「iOS 8 beta 6」は9月5日までに対象となったテストパートナーから受け入れる必要があるとのこと。

別の情報元によると、今回「iOS 8 beta 6」がデベロッパー向けに配布されなかった理由として、SafariでYouTubeが動作しなかったことを挙げている。これだけの理由でリリースを断念するとは思えないが、相手がAppleとなるとあり得ないこともあり得たりするので何とも言えない。
