Apple、Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.へのトリビュートを公式サイト全面掲載——10年以上続く恒例の取り組み

Appleが1月19日、公式サイトのホームページを全面的に刷新し、Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.へのトリビュートを掲載した。キング博士の影響力のある引用文と、マイアミ、バーミンガム、ジャクソンで撮影された歴史的写真を掲載し、Apple BooksとApple Podcastsを通じて彼の遺産をさらに探求できるよう案内している。

この取り組みは2015年から続く恒例のもので、Appleは「Homepage Takeover」と呼ばれる手法を採用し、製品発表などの大きなイベント時にのみ実施される特別な演出でキング博士に敬意を表している。ティム・クックCEOもX(旧Twitter)でトリビュートを投稿し、Martin Luther King Jr. Dayを祝福した。

ちなみに、1月19日は米国の連邦祝日であるMartin Luther King Jr. Dayのため、Appleのニュースサイクルは比較的静かな一日になりそうとのこと。
