Twitter、DMの検索機能やLive Photoのサポートなど複数の新機能を開発中
公式アプリ内で添付した写真の並び替え機能もテスト中
Twitterはダイレクトメッセージ（DM）の検索機能の開発に着手していることが明らかになった。
Mashableの記者であるKarissa Bell氏は他にも「Live Photo」のサポート（GIFアニメのように表示されるとのこと）や公式アプリ内で添付した写真の並び替え機能をテストしているとのこと。

特定のトピックをフォローできる機能も開発中
Twitterは、他にも特定のトピックをフォローできる機能の導入に向けて開発を進めている。
まずはAndroid向けにスポーツ関連内容を対象とし、自分自身の興味があるテーマを選ぶとそれらのアカウントをフォローしていなかったとしてもタイムライン上に表示される仕組み。
One test: Twitter will prompt you to follow specific topics (starting on Android w/ sports-related topics) which will pull relevant tweets into your timeline even if you don't follow the accounts. The topics are curated by Twitter but the tweets are pulled in w/ machine learning

フォローできるテーマはTwitterによってキュレーションされ、The Vergeによると、「すべてのトピックについて用意するつもりはない」と明言。表示されるツイートは機械学習によって決定される。フォローしているテーマの一部トピックをミュートする機能も用意されるようだ。
