「iPhone 6/6 Plus」の予約販売台数、24時間で400万台を突破！予約分の多くは10月に届く見通し

先週の金曜日12日から予約販売を開始した「iPhone 6」と「iPhone 6 Plus」の売れ行きが絶好調だ！

Appleによると、「iPhone 6」「iPhone 6 Plus」の予約販売台数はたった24時間で400万台を突破したと発表している！

Appleにとって史上最高記録となる販売台数

24時間で400万台。単純計算、1時間に約166,666台、1分に約2,777台、1秒に約46台を売っているという計算だ。信じられないような売れ行きだ！

Apple® today announced a record number of first day pre-orders of iPhone® 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the biggest advancements in iPhone history, with over four million in the first 24 hours. Demand for the new iPhones exceeds the initial pre-order supply and while a significant amount will be delivered to customers beginning on Friday and throughout September, many iPhone pre-orders are scheduled to be delivered in October.

24時間で400万台という記録はAppleにとっても過去最高。そもそも初期出荷台数が限られる可能性があるとは発表前から言われていたが、Appleによると事前予約分だけでも供給が間に合っていない状態で、多くの「iPhone 6」ならびに「iPhone 6 Plus」は10月になって届くだろうと述べている。

なお、9月19日（金）に販売開始するのはアメリカ、オーストラリア、カナダ、フランス、ドイツ、香港、日本、プエルトリコ、シンガーポール、イギリスの10ヶ国。その次の週の金曜日である9月26日からはさらに22ヶ国で販売開始するとのこと。

iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be available in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK beginning this Friday, September 19 and in more than 20 additional countries beginning on Friday, September 26 including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey and United Arab Emirates.
